Generate Printed Documentation in Word not capturing all topics

Hi,

i have tried and opened two different RoboHelp projects and Generated Batch layout to printed documentation in Word. When I open the printed documentation it seems to leave out some of the topics. I need the whole thing generated!!  Whats going on??  How can I do  generate the whole thing?!

Thanks

Hi adagilis and welcome to the RH community.

Can you give us some more clues. Are you including all the topics when generating the output? Are you using coditional build tags?

I dont know how to use conditional tags, or where to choose which topic to pick. I need  to include all topics. How is that done?

I use: File > Batch Generate> Printed Documentation

If you have batch generated the output you musy have the Printed Documentation single source layout setup the way you want. If you right click on it and select Properties you'll be taken through a wizard that allows you to do this. If you don't know about conditional build tags, chances are you don't need to worry about them. The first dialog in the wizard has a field called Conditional Build Expression. Is this set to "None"? The second dialog in the wizard is where you can define the topics that are included in the generated word file. The chances are, this is where you need to investigate.
