Hyperlink Activity Tracked?

Server Report: Frequently Viewed Topics

We have been able to confirm that topics found/viewed through the TOC, Search, and Index are captured in the server report.  Topics accessed via a hyperlink do not show up on the report.

Here's an example.  Topic A is opened and it has a related topics button leading to topic B.  If the user gets to topic B through the related topics button, the server report does not count this activity.

Should the report capture activity when a topic is accessed via a hyperlink?  Why/why not?

Thank you,

Eva

Hi Eva.

I'd submit this as a bug report as it should in my opinion track this. it may be worth while (if you have time) to see if the same applies with a normal hyperlink as opposed to a Related Topic link.

Thank you Colum.  The same is true for regular hyperlinks (the "times viewed" count does not increment).  I have reported this as a bug to Adobe.  I appreciate the response.
