Hi, Peter,

I'm trying to import .docx menu document and generate a help menu based on the .docx.

The import process:

I chose the following:

Convert references to hperlinks

Convert table of contents

Convert index

Then used webhelp to CHM to generate CHM file.

Although it has the table of contents and hypger link, the index and search function don't work.

Would you please help me out ?

Thanks,

Lily

I gather that for some reason not all of my signature appears in the Chrome browser for some users. I see it but I was sent a screenshot where it cannot be seen.

I have now changed the signature so that the link is in the first line so it will be seen by everyone. Some users may not see the second line but that's less important.

Look at my signature in each email, there's a link there for you to click. Then see the Contact page.

    Hi, Peter,

In the post that went AWOL I had asked can you share the project? If you can, then see the Contact page on my site and send the project as instructed there. Do make sure you include a link to this thread and please do not email the project direct.

    What is your site?

Reply by the blue Reply doesn't allow me to follow the trail either.

    I need this solved.

    Thanks,

    Lily

Remote log in or get the project details would be effective. - Working remotely when troubleshooting is not as effective as having the project.

what output can generate .chm file, not only webhelp right?  - Not sure what you mean by that.

See what support come up with. In the post that went AWOL I had asked can you share the project? If you can, then see the Contact page on my site and send the project as instructed there. Do make sure you include a link to this thread and please do not email the project direct.

It is so hard to have text ongoing to solve issues like this.

Remote log in or get the project details would be effective.

The sample project generated result is close what required.

Have to deal with other priority items for now, wait for the feedback from support person yesterday.

Hmm! I responded with some suggestions and offered to look at the project but the post has gone missing. Let us know what the issue was.

After following this epic thread, don't keep us waiting. Did the webhelp work as it should and could you then run the script OK?

If not, tell us exactly what happens so that we can get this show on the road.
