Question

Importing a .skz file that is exported from the same RH2020 version returns an error

I just exported the skin that I have created for my first RH2020.6.76 project (result is a .skz file). When I import it in my second RH2020 project, I get following error:

"Importing skin from different RoboHelp version is not supported. Upgrade the skin to current RoboHelp version and try again."

The skin that I have created was a customization of the Azure_Blue skin.

Adobe have found an issue that should be fixed in the next update.

Thank you. Meanwhile, I found a simple workaround for my case. To get the skon from project A to B:

    1. Close the project B.
    2. Copy the skin folder from \publish\skins of project A to project B.
    3. Reopen project B

    I see no problems (yet).

    Hi,

as Peter Grainge mentioned, I had problems with the frameless skin Oceanic.

Maybe it will help to flag the bug so we can get a quick fix.

Your question is identical to this thread a few weeks ago. Skin export/import, frameless output - Adobe Support Community - 12511241

I couldn't replicate it so at that point it didn't seem like a bug. However, it's looking like something that is a bug in certain scenarios.

I think you should contact Support on this. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

Please let us know what they say.
