After successfully installing Robohelp 7 for Word, I opened a project created in Robohelp 6 and received the following run-time error: "Bad DLL calling convention". As a result, the program froze when I tried to open one of the project documents.

I had this same issue. The solution was uninstalling the previous version of RoboHELP which was also installed on my machine. I also had to uninstall Version 7. Then I had to go into the registry, manually delete RoboHELP files that didn't automatically uninstall, and then I reinstalled RoboHELP. It's fixed now. I spent significant time on the phone with Adobe. They stated they were aware of the situation. I suggested to the person I spoke to, that they document it somewhere, not sure if they have yet. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

I have this problem too. Any solution found yet?

My run-time error 49 was caused by the custom template I use for my Word .doc. If I revert to RoboHelp.dot, there is no error 49, and I can edit topics from RoboHelp Explorer okay. My next task will be to make a copy of RoboHelp.dot that includes the styles from my custom template, so I can work as before.
