Mapping Stylesheets

Hi,

We currently have a CSS in used, but in order to make our document sets across the company consistent we have a new CSS. The style names in the new CSS are different. Is there a way to map styles from one CSS to another CSS in RoboHelp?

RoboHelp itself doesn't provide a feature for this. But with find and replace, it is relatively easy to do this:

1. Make a backup. Really, I can't stress this enough. Find and replace can wreck a project in seconds if anything goes wrong.

2. For every class you want to change, simply search for class="oldclassname" and replace it by class="newclassname". For find and replace you can use the RoboHelp Find and Replace in Files option or any third party find and replace tool.

    Thanks William. We had talked about find and replace and renaming options. The new style sheet has different attributes and a lot of new styles. It would be so easy if we could map the styles. I hope Adobe would develop that feature soon.
