Multi-level list problem with Level 2

I have recently moved to RH8 and am tearing my hair out. I have several serious problems, but I will post them in separate topics.

I want the second level of my multi list to have no numbering or bullet. I have selected (none) for the list style, but it won't stick. Is there any css tweak I can do to make this happen?

Back up your CSS and then open it in Notepad or suchlike.

Find the style and where you see the cursor in this image, remove whatever is in it.

Seems to work in a quick test. I suspect if you ever edit the style again, it might get rewritten so check that too.

Thanks. I'm working on my styles problem at the moment. I'll get back to the list problem when I get this one solved.
