Opening topics in a new brower tab

Does anyone know if it's possible to set a topic or file to open in a new browser tab? I know you can set it to open in a new window but my users want it to open in a new tab.

Where do you want to place that link? In the TOC, or from a topic?

In a topic, open the hyperlink properties. In Hyperlink Options, select

Display in Frame and choose New Window from the dropdown.
