RoboHelp was telling me I needed to reinstall the macros associated with it. I found helpful info in the Printed Documentation Error Messages section here: http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/printing/print_issues.htm
But the only fix suggested is here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/4cf80b20.html. These are fixes for X5 for Word versions 2000, XP, and 2003. I can't seem to find any fixes for RH8 for any Word versions (let alone my version, Word 2007).
Do you know where I can find a RoboHelp Word 2007 update? (I'll probably also need 2008--since I'll be upgrading within the next year.)

THIS IS THE SECOND POST FROM AMP100S - DELETED IN ERROR.
At first I got this message: "The macros in this project are disabled.
Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application
to determine how to enable macros." Once I enabled macros,
I got this message:
"The Word VBA macro version registered is incorrect.
Please reinstall printed documentation."
Your page talks about these errors, and you suggest we go here:
http://www.adobe.com/go/4cf80b20.
This Adobe page provides downloads for RoboHelp-Microsoft updates,
and instructions for installing them.
Unfortunately, they don't seem to have any updates
(that I can find, anyway) for anything beyond X5.
Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.

I branched the thread you posted to as the error is different. Not your fault but it threw me so best to keep different questions in different threads.
I did a search on
"The Word VBA macro version registered is incorrect.
Use the search labelled Search RoboHelp Forums.
It brought up a number of posts but this one seems the most likely. Look near the end.

I suspect the reason there haven't been any updates is that more than one thing can likely result in that message and the problem back with X5 was different. If the above solves your problem, and please let us know if it does, then the solution should be the same.
If you feel that network profiles should work, then log a bug. Please follow this link.
