Problem using the hash caracter?

Screen name of a product I am documenting is "Postcards by MLS #". I used this wording in a procedure, to which I applied a conditional build tag.
RH crashed, and I suspect the use of the hash character # caused a problem.

Is there a known issue? Is this a RH7 reserved character?

I believe it's a URL (HTML DOM Location Object) reserved character. Can you rename the file "Postcards by MLS No" or "Postcards by MLS ID"?
