Problems publishing merged help

When publishing a merged help project to a test server we discovered that our project folders in the TOC were opening up incorrectly.  Each project opened with a topic from the previous project.  Not sure what we are doing wrong.  Any thoughts or ideas?  I have attached a screen shot as an example.

You'll notice in the example that the Compliance project is opening as Account Receivables (and the list goes on...we have 18 projects total in the TOC).  When we generate and view we do not have this problem.  It is only when we publish to the server and view it with the Web Admin utility.

    Hi there

I see you elected to include the term "merged help" in the thread title. So I'm working under the assumption that you are referring to a merged setup.

What isn't clear here is whether you are seeing the behavior when viewing the master help system or if it occurs in a subordinate system? Or both?

    Cheers... Rick

    Hi,

I am using a merged help setup. And the problem only happens when I view the master "parent" project with the merged help topics.  When I view the "child" projects individually the TOC works the way it is supposed to.

Hi ChrissiB. I gather from the reference to "Web Admin" that you are publishing to a RoboHelp Server 8.

Unfortunately, I have seen this myself and others have as well. You can see it being discussed in this thread over on the RoboEngine/RoboHelp Server Forum:

UPDATE: Colum McAndrew covers this, and some possible workarounds on his blog:

It would be great if you could add your vote by filing a bug.
