How do I get my Browse Sequences to show up in my WebHelp output? I have added a new button to my Navigation on my WebHelp skin and I believe I linked it to my Browse Sequence file in my project folder. When I preview my skin, I see the new button, but it doesn't do anything. When I generate my WebHelp output, I don't even see the button let alone have access to my Browse Sequences. Help.

Hi there
Sounds like you are misunderstanding Browse Sequnces. There is no button or file to link to. You simply create the Sequence(s) and ensure they are enabled in the Single Source Layout recipe. When all is working they show up as little arrow icons as shown in the image below:
*NOTE: Depending on the skin you are using, the icons may appear differently.

In re-reading this, it occurs to me that you may need some guidance on the steps to make it all happen.
First, Click Tools > Browse Sequence Editor.
Create one or more sequences that contain topics.
Exit the Browse Sequence Editor.
Edit the Single Source Layout recipe so that Browse Sequences have been enabled. For Version 8, you will find the option to enable them on the second or third screen you see when clicking the Next button at the bottom of the dialog.
Hope this helps... Rick ![]()

Hi Cativ8r,
I have already done the steps you indicate. The problem might be either the skin I've chosen or the web browsers for both. Internet Explorer does not even show the arrow buttons. Firefox does, and they seem to work, but there is no clue that they are Browse Sequence buttons. Do you know of any way to make them more apparent in WebHelp like they are in HTML help?

You can change the buttons in the Skin Editor. They should always be visible in any browser but will only be enabled when the topic displayed is in a browse sequence.
No way I have seen of recreating the CHM display in WebHelp.
