RH X5 and RH 7 upgrade

We are about to upgrade to RH 7 from RH X5. Most of the current projects in our company were done in RH Word when they had the X5 release. Are there any issues or action items that I should be doing before upgrading? Has anyone had experience doing this updgrade and may want to share their experience to avoid future incompatibilities? I think we need to completely uninstall X5 before installing the full RH 7 release, right?

Thank you for your comments.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes you must uninstall X5 before installing RH7. Whilst RoboHelp HTML can work with more than one version, that is not true of RoboHelp for Word.

There is information on my site about Using RH7 but it is mostly aimed at RH HTML users.

In the separate article About RH7 there are some links. See the Before You Install article.
