RH6 HTML - Cannot Generate WebHelp

New Here ,
Oct 07, 2009 Oct 07, 2009

I am using RoboHelp HTML - RH6. I recently cancelled generating WebHelp after I started it and forgot to switch the skin. Now, when I try to generate WebHelp, the screen seems to hang for a moment but never starts to generate. I have tried closing out of the project and re-opening. I was also able to generate FlashHelp after, but still cannot generate WebHelp. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Peter,

Do you mean generate using a different layout? If so, I did try to do so -- I tried FlashHelp (which worked fine). I went back and tried WebHelp and had the same thing happen.

I believe Peter means for you to create a new WebHelp layout (call it WH Test, for example).

Good luck,

Leon

Wow, that was a lot easier than I could have hoped for. Didn't think changing the output name would solve it. Thank you, both of you.

It wasn't the fact the new layout had a different name, it was that the new layout didn't have whatever problem was in the first one, assuming you did create a new layout.
