Question

Robo Help files of specific pages are not loading in environments

Hi,

We upgraded files from RoboHelp 2017 to Robo Help 2022 and deployed them to environments.

However, when we  tried accessing the Robo Help file of a particular page, it gets navigate to landing page of the RoboHelp 2022, instead of the descriptions of that page.

Can we access the specifications of the specific page from that page itself?

The format of the calls is different as I pointed out earlier in the thread. I'm not following how you see that as changing from static to dynamic.. They were and are different for each topic, no change there. It's the construction that has changed.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the suggestions.

On analysis, it is found that the issue shoots from the change in how URLs are handled in the new version. In RoboHelp 2017, the URLs for help topics were static, whereas in RoboHelp 2022, they are now dynamic. This change will likely necessitate some adjustments in how we call the help file from our application.

Assuming they can be called from the TOC, am I right in thinking your developer uses URLs for the context sensitive calls. If so, they need to change. See this topic on my site.

Your post at https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/certain-content-pages-are-not-reflecting-in-output/m-p/14904613/thread-id/155586 is the same issue. It is why I asked if the topics were in the output but you didn't reply to that point.

In the new versions all topics must be in the TOC that you create but they don't have to be visible in the TOC the end users see. They can be hidden there. It's explained here.

It's possible the call is also an issue but first let's get the content in the output right.

    Hi,

All the pages are like that.

    Thank you,

Is it just one page that is not responding to a context sensitive page or are all context sensitive calls failing?

Also have you checked the rogue page is in the output?
