Hello All,
When I generate PDF output, the following error message is getting displayed.
Please help...

An easy to miss trigger for the message is that you generated a PDF but didn't close it before trying to generate again.
The next thing I would check is that both project and source are on the same drive. Test both locally in a copy of the project.
After that, try one of the sample projects so that you can be sure it is your project rather than your setup.
Then create a new TOC with just one topic.
Try the above and post back.

@Ana2021 - when you get those types of failures, double check that you have a value in every dropdown field in the output and template selected - even if you don't use it. Example: if you dont use backend content (index, glossary etc) and don't have a page layout selected for it (like common) the PDF will fail with that message. The log will not provide the details that triggered the error - very frustrating. I found that issue/solution via trial and error troubleshooting.

Thank you, @davidk99046111. Yes, as I remember that I have used most of the options (e.g, template, toc, page layout,) before generating the PDF output.
The most frustrating part is that if there are centain options that must be selected before generating the PDF output, it should display the required error messages. This is not accepted from a company like Adobe and its Products.

Most of the fields such as TOC have defaults to prevent such issues.
Just to confirm, a single topic in the TOC also fails to generate, correct? More importantly perhaps is you can't generate the sample project About RoboHelp.
Is RoboHelp installed on your local drive and was it installed with admin rights?
Are you on 2022.3 and if not, which version are you on? See https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/update-3-of-robohelp-2022-release-is-now-availab... if you are on 2022.1.
Windows or Mac machine?
You are not getting any Java messages, correct?

I'm thinking this is an installation issue as About RoboHelp is a known project that generates OK. Maybe one of the questions will point in that direction.
