RoboHelp Style persistence?

Guest

I'm trying to create a style template to import our FrameMaker books into RoboHelp - I created some new RoboHelp styles and mapped them to the Frame tags. I saved the mapping file to use again for another book. Everything worked great.

When I tried to re-create the process with a different book, I could load the mapping file fine, but the new RoboHelp styles that I had created were nowhere to be found. Is there some way to save these for reuse?

I thought RH7 created the styles on the fly based on your Frame docs when you read them in, or possibly when you select the style dialog.

I've been hacking fmstyles.css. That file provides some control over output styles; not sure that helps you though.

RH7 has a fixed set of initial styles - and I wanted some additional ones to map to the FM styles in our templates. I did this once and then tried to repeat my process with a new file and found the new RH7 styles I created didn't carry over into the new help project. This has uncovered a different can of worms, which I'm planning on posting about shortly.

I'm going to also hack the fmstyles.css, since that seems to be how to get RH7 to do what I want it to do.
