None of this stuff works for me... I get the same error on Windows XP, WORD 2003.. And still cant get it fixed nor can I complete my work.. Thanks again RoboHelp....

Also been using X5 and its been working happily until i installed the trial for 7.0 and the
"Reinstall RoboHelp if you continue to get this message." and the "Run-time error 49. Bad DLL Calling Convention" message comes up.

I have started from the top of these suggested solutions including the Office Templates, the complete uninstall procedure from Peter Grainge and the Adobe Website;

I have been through all the registry entries that have anything to do with eHelp and Robohelp and even anything to do with Adobe.
I have deleted the Program Files entries also.
I have uninstalled practically everything on the machine (except drivers) including Office 2003. and have started by installing X5 back again with the SP2 then Office 2003.
I am an administrator on the machine, i have disabled the antivirus and reinstalled and still getting the same error?
Running out of ideas here.....??? Can we get an official statement from Adobe on what to do please!

See the topic on my site about Installing RH. Sounds like you may need to follow the Full uninstall procedures.

I also just upgraded from Robohelp X5 to 7.0 using the free trial download. I ran one project. My company did not want to upgrade at this time so I uninstalled 7. Now I get the "Can't read registry entry AppPath. RoboHelp may not be installed properly. Reinstall RoboHelp if you continue to get this message." Then the Run-time error 49 message comes up. I tried the above solution and I have reinstalled RH5, but no luck.

I just upgraded from Robohelp 6 to 7 and got the same error message. I will try the solution mentioned above. Clearly a major bug in the setup routine.

I just solved this after more than 12 hours! I went into the MS Office Templates folder and deleted all Robohelp-related files. I then ran the Robohelp repair install and it seems to have corrected the problem.
