Is there a way to save my printed documentation layout? I have several hundred files that I am organizing for a printed document but after it is generated I loose the layout.

Welcome to the forum.

RH automatically saves the layout when you generate. I have never known it fail.

If you create a layout but do not generate, then the layout is not saved unless you do it in a particular way. Instead of double clicking the layout, right click it and select Properties. The wizard will open but there will be a Save button.

If that is not it, post back with the RH version and flavour (HTML or Word).

You are generating to your local drive?

...and the project files are also on your local machine?

Good luck,
