search highlight

New Here ,
May 17, 2007 May 17, 2007
when search performed search word not highlighted in the result with RoboHelp HTML version X5.0.2.

To find out information on a subject, i.e.,
RELATED DOCKETS, and I typed in RELATED or RELATED DOCKETS next to
TYPE IN THE TERM(S) TO SEARCH FOR and I select the section I want to
check I'll could quickly see the term(s) highlighted on the right side of the
page wherever it is used. Currently you are given the Section of the User
Guide where the term appears but you have to read or scan the ENTIRE
section to locate the word. That's very time consuming, especially when
the word or words isn't even used in the manner in which you are inquiring
about.

This is the general discussion group and you haven't indicated what type of help you are producing. HTML Help (CHM) does highlight the searched terms. WebHelp does not but there is a method on my site for introducing that.

See my previous reply. The method is described on my site for webhelp. For CHM help see the Window Properties.
