Search not working in HTML Help

We are working in RobHelp for Word 6 on a very large legacy project. The source material consists of 25 large Word documents. Using MS Office Word 2003 to edit the source documents.

We produce output in HTML and Web Help formats. In the HTLM (a single .chm file) the search funtion does not work. A tiny window pops up titled Help with the message "No topic found." The index function works fine.

The search funcitons works fine in the Web Help output.

Hi, TEB008,

This typically happens when one of the DLLs that the help compiler uses is missing or incorrectly registered. Here are some instructions on how to re-register this DLL from the command line:

http://frogleg.mvps.org/helptechnologies/htmlhelp/hhtips.html#hhc6003

I'd also recommend that you download and run MJ's Help Diagnostics, and choose the option to "Refresh Registration of all HH 1.x DLLs".
