Snippets Not Appearing Correctly

When I insert a snippet, it does not appear in line with the paragraph text. Instead, the snippet is inserted below the paragraph. Is this the expected behavior? If not, how do I correct it?

This is expected behaviour as snippet are designed to be used for distinct chunks of text that do not form a part of a sustantive paragraph. You may want to consider another approach one of which I covered in a blog post just yesterday. You can read it here. Another option would be use a macro tool like Macro Express that is worth its weight in gold - and it isn't that heavy in financial terms.
