structured FM elements not working in RH7

Does anyone have experience with structured FM and RH7.

I have index and glossary markers in FM text as structured elements. These work in FM. I can create lists and use the hyperlink functions. But when importing the FM files to RH7 these markers do not come over to RH7 index or glossary.

Have tried unwrapping glossary elements, so that glossary markers are in std FM tags - this works both in FM and RH7.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a bug in RH7? Or do you need to do something extra when using structured elements?

RoboHelp does not handle index term or glossary specific elements. The solution for converting IndexTerm elements to Index markers exists through use of Read Write rules. If you use the Read Write rules to convert IndexTerm Elements to Index markers on import and save Index markers as IndexTerm Elements on export in FrameMaker, you will not have this problem. Please see Page 179 of the Structured Developers Reference Guide. This is available on FrameMaker Resources web page.

Thanks for the reply. I read the ref. you gave to the read/write rules, but I am not sure these apply here. I am not using a DTD. I have created an EDD and use this structure to create the FM docs. It is these FM docs that I am trying to move to RH7.

Is it still necessary to include read/write rules here? They weren't required when I used WebWorks Pub.
