TOC Questions

Two questions about TOCs

(1) I imported a Frame Book and its TOC. I was forced to name this TOC to complete the import.

I now have two TOCs: the one I named -- which has all the 'good stuff' -- and another TOC which is named after the project and is empty.

The <project-name>TOC is labeled as (default); I'd like to delete it and use the other as my default toc.

Is this possible and if so how?

(2) I would like to know, quite specifically, how to make the TOC tab appear in my compiled output. I've messed with the 'Help Options - Microsoft HTML Help' dialog but to no avail.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It helps to let us know what version you are using when you want specific direction to find something. And also let us know what type of help you are producing - WebHelp or compiled help (CHM). I'm way out of date with RH but to make the TOC tab appear - you will need to check that box in the Window properties dialog.

I think you can simply open both TOCs in RH and drag the contents of the new one into the default.
