Unable to see mapped FM styles in RH output or create RH styles

I am using the trial version of TC2, which comes with RoboHelp 8. I created a project in RH8 and in it I link to an FM8 book. I tried mapping FM styles to RH styles using the Conversion Settings dialog. In Project Settings CSS for Style Mapping is set to RHStyleMapping.css.

After mapping all my FM styles I get inconsistent results. I thought this might be due to the Style for following paragraph setting, which I have since set to none in all paragraph.

I have tried to map my FM List styles to List styles I created in RoboHelp but I am not able to map any FM style to any of the RH styles I have created since any of the RH styles I create are not available in the drop-down list.

What I really don't understand is why any FM styles that are mapped to Source all come out in Times New Roman. If I map an FM style to Source in RH7, at least the FM formatting is by and large preserved--albeit the indentation is always absolutely wicked and unpredictable.

Is there a recommended method to mapping FM styles to RH styles that someone can point me to?

Best indeed,

Peter

Peter,

You might want to have a look at the recordings that RJ Jacquez did today on dynamically linking FM to Robohelp via TCS2. The second recording deals with style mappings.
