Hi all
What I'm about to suggest probably falls more into the VooDoo
category than anything else, but what the heck. Can't hurt to
double check, eh?
I seem to vaguely recall that if you have had Windows
Explorer open at some point and have been using it to look at your
output folder, you may have a file named "Thumbs.db" present. I
think if this file is present it may cause odd issues. As I recall,
it's a system file generated by Windows. You may safely delete it
if you see it, as it's a file Windows creates if you ever look at
the folder in "Thumbnails View" from Windows Explorer.
Additionally, you may need to configure Windows Explorer so that it
will show these files to you.
So to be on the safe side, here is how you configure Windows
Explorer to show these files to you.
From inside Windows Explorer, click Tools > Folder
Options...
Click the View tab
Ensure the option is enabled for "Show hidden files and
folders"
While we are here, we may as well change a couple of other
settings. So ensure the options "Hide extensions for known file
types" and "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)"
are not enabled. (If they are enabled, a check mark appears in the
check boxes for these settings).
As I said earlier, it may be VooDoo, but you never know...
