Upgrade to RoboSource Control 3

New Here ,
Nov 23, 2007 Nov 23, 2007
We are in the process of upgrading RoboHelp and RoboSource Control. We currently are using RSC2 but need to move to RSC3. Is there an upgrade path to be able to use the existing access db that we are using for RSC2? I have been searching but cannot find documentation. A link to documentation or any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

There is an upgrade path from RSC 2 to 3. You will really like the stability of SQL Server 2005 (or Express) vs. the old Access db.

In addition to the documentation that comes with the separate RSC Explorer app, be sure to check out Matthew Ellision's revised article just posted on the Adobe Developer Connection. You'll find it here.

We were using RSC2 with SQL server and ran into a couple of issue when upgrading. My suggestion would be to install RH6 and RSC3 on a machine other than your existing DB , create your DB with the RH 6 utilitiy, but import your projects with the RH6 GUI rathere than RoboSource Control 3.
