Upgrade Tomcat Procedure

How do I upgrade Tomcat on RoboServer?

We have to move off of Tomcat 6.0.26 due to vulnerablities found in a PCI scan.

I tried the standard uninstall Tomcat, reinstall in same directory, copy in the robofilter and server.xml files as well as the work Cataline folders.

But nothing displays on the url when i start Tomcat.  It does resolve the path - no error on that.

I assume somethign needs refreshed on the RoboHelp side?

Is there any documentation on upgrading Tomcat to a newer version for RoboHelp?

Hi NSC Gillis,

After you installed new version of Tomcat, does your server.xml contain entries for contexts pointing to RoboHelp Server 8 installation?

If not, you would need to create them manually /copy the entry from server.xml of your earlier installation.
