By "user" are referring to the end user visitor to the
website where the project was published, or authentication of the
RoboHelp author who may be part of a user group and wants to
publish to the RH Server site?

the authors should be part of the RoboPublish Group. Each
author will still need to create a link to the server using the
WebHelp Pro or FlashHelp Pro publishing wizard. This is where the
auhentication for the authors takes place.
Let me know if this addresses your question. I am not a
"real" IT person but I do run RH 6 Server on my web server and the
above links are what I used.
