Where are all the WinHelp Topics?

They have disappeared? Been deleted? They include a few of my own that I need to get to. And I need to search them. What's going on?

You may be out of luck there. They do get purged for some reason I cannot fathom given the low cost of disk space these days.

How long ago did you post them? What have you set your history to?

I have it set to 2000 days. The topics I am looking for are probably 3-4 years old, but the answers may be relevant to the problem I am having now. Sorry to be cranky, but I am at wit's end with this issue I am having. (But judging by the number of recent entries in the WinHelp forum, I may be out of luck for anything new. ) Thanks for your help and patience.

    Hi there beerzie

Vista sneaked in and ate them all. After all, it *IS* Friday the 13th!

Actually, the real reason is that the WinHelp forum gets very little traffic. As a result, most of the topics are probably hidden from you. Click the Profile link on this forum web page and edit your forum profile. Your Profile governs how far back in history you see.

    Cheers... Rick

No wonder I own a Mac for my personal use. Well, try as I might, it says "You have posted 7 messages to this forum. 7 overall." but I can only get to the latest ones. They really messed up this forum; it used to be helpful, now I am spending all sorts of time just getting to posts. It's been very very kludge since Adobe took over.
