Question

Why are my hotspot jumps corrupted after help is generated?

I am using RH8 for Word, Word version is 2007. This time I moved the project to my local drive and got rid of the batch files.

So, finally we got the help generated, (minus the table of contents), but now, the destination topics show up in the generated help and the jumps are lost. We can no longer navigate to the topics.  Below I am inserting a copy of the generated help. Notice the "*"? It is followed by the topic and the window.

This is not an isolated occurrence. All the hotspot jumps in the project are the same. Is there a way to fix all of them at once? the only way I have been able to do this is by deleting all from the "*" to the end, and then re-create the jump. Peter, did you have the same occur to you when you tested the sample project I sent?

Please help, this is so frustrating!

Esperanza

I didn't look at hotspot graphics.

Is there a way to get someone from Adobe to look into this?

Are you saying the API didn't help?

Either way, you would have to contact Tech Support and pay for the incident.

Given that Windows 7 and Vista do not support the form of help you are creating, is it not time to move away from it?
