Hello Mx_Jan,

Welcome to the forum.

This problem will most probably be caused by an add-in in word. Open word, and select Tools\Templates and add-ins. If there are any there, uncheck each in turn until the problem goes.

If you are still having difficulties, see
//www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm
followed by

Lets us know how you get on.

Hope this helps,

Brian

Hello Brian,

at first, thanks for helping me.

I have uncheck all templates but the same error occur. I think there as a problem accessing the robohelp.dot template and create the helpfile.doc. The message discribes a invalid procedure call or a invalid argument.

Debugging is disabled and the vba is password proteced.

Do you have more ideas ?

Hello Mx_Jan

Sorry to take so long getting back to you - ill health is a restriction

The fact that the message refers to an invalid argument or procedure ponts to a macro failing. These are normally part of an add-in. Were there any add-ins in the list (not templates)? If so, uncheck each in turn until you find the offender.

Also check what Office updates were applied just before the problem occurred. unistall the updates at that point; you can always update again later. another option is to restore your system to a checkpoint prior to the problem occurring.

Let us know how you get on.

Regards,

Brian
