Greetings,

Within RoboHelp X5, is there are word count feature, similar to MS Word or WordPerfect? For some reason, my client would lilke to know the number of words.

There isn't. The usual trick is to output all topics to Word and get the number there.

There are various programs that will count the words in the HTML but Word is already on your PC.

Just in case you were still wondering why your client wants to know the number of words - one reason is that translation services charge by the word. The Word printed document output works really well for this - the translators aren't interested in any of the "behind-the-scenes" words in the HTML code. Just make sure that you include all your topics in the printed doc layout (the default is only those topics in the Table of Contents).
