Good morning,
I have robohelp 2019 and word 2013 and cannot produce the correct printed documentation. It gives me error `` FAILED TO GENERATE PROVAWORD.DOCX ''. I would like to see the steps that the program performs but I don't know where they are. PDF instead does. What can I do?

The forum system has given you default name, you can set up a better name if you edit your account settings. It doesn't have to be your real name.

Are you using 2019 Classic or 2019 New UI?

Have you tried generating on of the sample projects to Word? That will tell us whether the problem is your setup or your document.

    • In Classic versions, click Open Project on the RoboHelp Starter page and then click Samples in the ribbon on the left.
    • In the new UI you should see them on the Starter Screen but if not then click Open Project on the Starter Screen to open File Explorer. Browse to Documents and then My RoboHelp Projects.

    Good morning Peter,

    Happy new year.

I tried to make a new project with two topics and turn it into word. It works but the word has huge style formatting. So I tried again with an old project that gave an error but I created a new smaller table of contents and tried to produce a word document. I managed to get a word but with the same problem of gigantic characters. I think the problem is the styles.
I think I have robohelp 2019 classic ... in the project information it says Adobe RoboHelp 2019
    2019.0.10.

I know I'm not very competent and I apologize for this ... but in Italy I don't find anyone who takes courses to learn better.

    best regards

    Peter,

Maybe I understand .... as I thought if I use a default .css standard and when creating the word I put all the parameters of the styles '' style mapping  = discard style'' works correctly. Otherwise, if I use a custom css with some variables for the styles and when creating the word I put all the parameters of the styles '' style mapping ' = discard style''  works. Probably the variables do not allow a correct creation of the word document.

    It's true?
