We have a .net application written in C# that has had a
workable help system in the past. We just recently got back into it
& my compiled help (RoboHelp HTML 6, I don't remember which
version it was originally compiled on) only works from two windows,
all the others receive the folowing message:
This program cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website
to make sure you are connected.
Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
More information
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the
website's domain.
This is NOT from a server or over a network, it is on my
local machine (Vista & it also happens on XP). As I mentioned
above two windows work, all the rest will not work using F!, but I
can access them from the TOC or Index or Search.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
