We have a .net application written in C# that has had a
workable help system in the past. We just recently got back into it
& my compiled help (RoboHelp HTML 6, I don't remember which
version it was originally compiled on) only works from two windows,
all the others receive the folowing message:
This program cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.
Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
More information
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
This is NOT from a server or over a network, it is on my local machine (Vista & it also happens on XP). As I mentioned above two windows work, all the rest will not work using F!, but I can access them from the TOC or Index or Search.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

As I understand your message, you have not recompiled this
help file since it was working. Has the application been updated?
It seems as though something is broken with the context sensitive
help from the application side. As a RoboHelp user, I would use the
BugHunter tool to try to track what messages are being sent from
the app to the help engine. Compare the two topics that work to the
ones that don't. In the help source files open the .hh (or .h) file
and the .ali file. These are text files that direct the messages
from the app (usually a map number) to the topic filename. You
should see consistency between what the app is doing and what the
help file expects.
