Question

What does a globe at the folder icon mean?

When I installed RH9 or at least after I imported my first project into RH9 I got a folder under

\Users\me\Documente\Eigene Robohelp Projekte

This folder appears with a globe symbol attached to the folder icon?

What is the special meaning of that folder? Is it a matter of security settings that give the

folder that property?

Thanks for that pointer. But - it brings to no extent a solution.

But I found the reason by myself:

The folder "Eigene Robohelp Projekte" contains a file

"DESKTOP.INI" When I delete this file (rename), the globe disappears.

The desktop.ini contains:

[.ShellClassInfo]

InfoTip=@C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML\bsuuShellUiUtils.dll,-107

IconFile=C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML\bsuuShellUiUtils.dll

IconIndex=1

Looks like that - maybe it's shared? Don't use it anyway - the path is too long. Keep your RH projects in a c:\projects\[project_name]\ structure for best results.

Path too long. That's again an interesting information. I'll try out whether it helps with my other RH9 problems. (Help IDs not visible in merged projects - the actual reason why I entered this forum).
