WinHelp and Windows Vista

What do you recommend to be used for Help in place of WinHelp
for WIndows Vista?

Welcome to the forum.

Currently, Htmlhelp, as in a .chm file, is the only real contender. Microsoft's Vista Help will probably be released with Windows Vista, but it may be used only for Windows' integrated help system, much like XP's Help and Support Center.
