Hello Contributors, a year ago I sold a single illustration, and the day I sell at least one more, I will get totally drunk.

In general, I've read that it's recommended to have at least 500 in-demand assets before one starts seeing returns.  There are strategies between different Stock agencies for increasing your visibility and ranking higher in search results such as submitting often and using the right keywords and titles.

Sort of the harsh reality of the stock world is that it is pretty competitive at the moment.  If you browse through some popular keywords you'll see millions of results.  Stock is more like a marathon instead of a sprint race.  There will be some upfront time investment with no guaranteed return.

I don't shoot for Stock, but instead look through what I already photograph and see what is suitable for stock.  This means I only get the occasional sale and I'm happy with that because that means I get to still photograph the things that are meaningful to me and display them for sale in a global market that I wouldn't be able to sell to otherwise.

If you are interested in making more sales, the Adobe Artists Hub is a great resource to see what is in-demand.

How many assets are in your account? Stock sales increase with masses.

I have 9 illustrations for now, earned 23 cents. Someone will add another 1 dollar to me. Maybe it's interest.

That's strange, as the minimum payout should be 33 cents. Did you do your tax papers with stock?

A joke comes to mind:
A believer goes to church and prays to God for 10 years that he wants to win the lottery.
When he is in church again and asks God for a lottery win, the heavens open and God shouts down: Then please finally take part in a lottery.
