Assets Shifting in Contributor Portfolio

Hello All,

For months, I've been noticing my assets shifting from page to page within my Contributor Portfolio. My guess is that if someone clicks on my image, it jumps closer to the top of the list. Is my guess correct? I have sorting set to bring purchased images to the beginning.

If my guess is wrong, why does this happpen?

Thanks, in advance 😃

    Hello,

This would be my guess also! It most probably has something to do with the algorithms that Adobe uses. (Every man and his dog are now using AI and algorithms.) If you notice your images are moving around, I think this would be the logical conclusion.

The Portfolio (not the Dashboard page) appears to be a random selection of recent sales, but not necessarily top sellers, and recently accepted images. I doubt that the newly approved images have even been clicked on by a potential Buyer. I have some that were just approved last night that are near the top of my Portfolio page.

I tried to fully explain what I was asking, but there seems to be some confusion so I'll try again:

I am NOT talking about newly accepted images. I am aware there are two ways to sort. I already stated I had mine set to bring purchased images to the top. I constantly look at my CONTRIBUTOR portfolio (not ADOBE PORTFOLIO) to be sure that newly accepted images come up with the key words I added. Therefore, because I look at the order of my images on an almost daily basis, I KNOW where they are in the grand scheme of my CONTRIBUTOR portfolio.

I am 1000% positive that select images move around! If no one knows the answer, it's OK to say so, but please, please do not tell me that it is not happening, because I KNOW that it happens.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I'm not dumb. You may have more experience here in Adobeland, but I am of above average intelligence.

As always, thanks in advance for actual ANSWERS, not insulting comments. 😃

Where was the insult in what I posted?

There are only two ways that the assets on your dashboard page can be sorted:
By Downloads - this will sort them in order by number of downloads; beyond the images that have been sold, I don't know how the previously unsold ones are sorted.

By Date - this will sort them in order of submission.

    [Moderator moved to Stock Contributors.]

Your Stock Contributor Portfolio is separate from Adobe Portfolio.

Recently downloaded Stock assets move to the top. That's normal & expected.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
