Could artificial intelligence assist in creating a more advanced and accurate search?

Hello dear collaborators and everyone on Adobe Stock. While searching for various images, I started wondering: what if artificial intelligence could help create a more precise search engine? For instance, when someone searches for 'dog,' only images that visually depict a dog would appear—no accidental images of cats or other animals. The search engine would accurately identify images that truly match the search term on a visual level. Currently, many keywords are intentionally misused by contributors to attract false clicks, which results in visuals that do not align with the user's actual search. This is a significant drawback that impacts user experience and trust.

Parts of a search engine is driven by AI. And it's getting more complex every iteration.

This is definitely a good idea, because, as you noted, it will exclude images with incorrect keywords. I suppose Adobe is already considering this or has implemented it to a certain extent already.

I suspect there are already examples of AI being used to search images. Apple Intelligence is at least one of them. For example, in Photos, if I type the name of my daughter, her images are displayed, even though I have never gotten around to keywording my Photo assets. And still, it isn't always 100% accurate. But I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing much more of it in the near future.
