Feedback Request: Rejected Image (Quality Issue) – AI-Generated (Firefly 4 + Upscale)

Hi everyone,

I recently submitted an image to Adobe Stock that was generated using Adobe Firefly (Image 4) and then upscaled using an AI upscaling tool. Unfortunately, it was rejected with the message:

"Thanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, this image doesn't meet our quality standards so we can’t accept it into our collection."

I’m trying to understand exactly what quality issue might have caused the rejection — whether it’s something related to sharpness, detail, artifacts, or something else.

I'd really appreciate if some experienced contributors could take a look and give me constructive feedback. Here's the image:

Also, if anyone has tips on:

  • How to prepare AI-generated images for Adobe Stock

  • Recommended tools or settings for proper upscaling

  • What specific quality standards to look out for

...please share your insights! I'm hoping to improve my submissions and learn from this.

Thanks in advance,

I think it's important to also mention that Firefly AI is trained on images sourced from Adobe Stock. You are, in effect, taking mashed up Stock content and submitting it back to Stock for commercial sale.

Firefly is just one more tool in your toolbox. You'll need to be hands-on with what it generates to ensure that your final product is accurate & "unique enough" to be included in Stock inventory. Use whatever skills you have from painting & drawing to compositing & editing.

IMO, the best upscaler is the paid one from Gigapixel AI. But don't go overboard with it. Less is usually more than adequate for good results.

Hope that helps.

It looks like a beautiful piece of work, but try zooming in to 100% to see it.
Due to a rendering error, the clock face, musical notes, etc. are distorted.
Unless this is fixed, it will not pass the review.

The image is too small to judge.

Please post to the community the same image that you submitted to Stock for review.
