What are the first steps you guys do when you do upload on Adobe? Do you guys first do keywords research aur trends research or see if the image you're going to shoot, how many people are there who did the same work on Adobe Stock. Please give your step by step process.

This would be very easy to understand if the steps would be in bullet points. 😊

I think this varies by the artist and the type of assets they're preparing for submission -- photos, vectors, videos, or Generative AI.

If it helps you to have a check list, go ahead & create one. Do whatever works best for you.

I don't shoot for stock. So, when I shoot, I shoot because of a primary reason to shoot, which may be professional or private. When I'm out, however, and I see something that I could upload, I take that , but I do not plan my shootings for stock.

When I sort out my pictures on my computer, and a picture would be nice for uploading, I do so. Then titling, keywording, submitting.

The same when I create vector files (I have very few vector files in my portfolio). I create for a reason. If that is good enough for stock later on, I submit.

Oh, I understood that. So can we use our work at other projects after uploading the asset to Adobe?

Yes. For me it's more if I can use my work here, after getting paid for a job. And most often, my pictures need specific authorizations.

But anything you upload here can be used elsewhere, also on competitors' stock databases. Adobe does not claim exclusive rights.

Lightroom is cloud based, even that they also allow now local processing, if I'm correctly informed.

LRC is Lightroom Classic and is the original Lightroom. It was called until version 6 Photoshop Lightroon. It works with a local database.

Lightroom and Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw use the same raw engine and are introducing new features (like masking, new camera support …) syncronized.
