Question

first submission, would like some feedback

Submitted a batch of about 10 photos and the 3 that have gone through have all been denied, after reviewing others photos and what adobe is looking for it makes sense on most of them. However I do have one photo that seems good to me, but I could be wrong lol. Would love some feedback on what others think of this photo and why it was denied. Thanks!

The bloom is not completely in focus, and I think it could be cropped tighter. But honestly, I wouldn't spend any time editing and submitting floral images. Adobe is already overrun with flowers, with >29 million already in the database. The chances that yours would ever be found or sold are quite slim.

wow that is a lot of flower photos. What are some of the best photos to submit in your opinion?

Stay away from low percentage sellers -- i.e. sunsets/sunrises, clouds, trees, plants, flowers, pets and abstract backgrounds.

Focus on unusual or seasonal subjects that have little representation.  Business, education, technology, medicine, hobbies, people at work or in social settings.  There as many things to photograph as grains of sand on a beach.  Be creative and let your imagination guide you.

The photo needs sharpening and some noise reduction. Also the shadows need some light.

Awesome thank you for the feedback ralph! I was thinking it was because of the soft background. Would you mind if I posted it again here for your feedback before I submit again?
