Help to improve photo rejection rate

Hello, lately I have been rejecting many photographs due to quality problems that other agencies do accept. In many cases, I can't find the reason, and I'm lost. I would like to know it to avoid it in future sessions.

Another question I have is whether the moderation is done by software or by people. Thank you very much!

Cup and glass need straightening.

There's a problem with the design of the dish - loss of detail perhaps due to overexposure.

Thank you Jill. In this case, I still see the photo as good in every way, and in fact it is already being downloaded by other agencies. Sometimes Adobe is too strict. 🙂

Stock has different customers with different quality standards from other services.

Also, beware of using patterned dishes that are protected by design patents.  That could result in a strike for IP infringement.  See Property Releases below.

Adobe Stock customers expect the highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects.

our photos are overexposed.

Here is your photo. Notice the histogram? Everything is bunched up on the right side.

Here is hoew the histogram should look with more midtones.

You also have some halos.

And I agree, the DoF is too shallow.

Hello,

You have to watch your focus:

The focus is too narrow.

2nd - these are AI-generated images, aren't they?

Hello, the photos were not made with AI. They were taken with a Fuji XT3, fixed focal lens and a large aperture so that there is little depth of field. They were lit with studio flash.
So, what you don't like is that they have that look with the focus on a single point?

Thank you very much

Sometimes it can be hard to distinguish between AI and real images these days, which I think can be a problem!

Personally, I think the DOF is too shallow, so maybe the moderators thought the same thing.

You have to be careful with the exposure as well. Perhaps that is another reason the moderators rejected them.

And look more carefully at your white balance.

Saludos
