i had 9 images in review and they have all disappeared

Either, they are in review, reminder or not accepted tab, or they got accepted. The releases tab is for model and property releases.

If they are in neither tab, go to the dashboard and change to sort by date.

That will show the latest accepted upload first. 

If you do not see the asset there, you will need to clear the cache and cookies of your browser and disable ad blockers on the adobe sites. 

You should also check your e-mails for messages from Adobe stock.

Do you upload from within Lightroom? This happened to me once. After Lightroom finishes the upload, one gets the dialog box stating something along the lines of "Do you wish to start selling? (Yes or No)." Once I clicked No because I didn't have time to title the images or enter keywords. When I found time later, I went to view the images and they weren't there. I then uploaded another image, but this time I clicked "Yes." When the page opened up, there were the set of images that didn't appear earlier.

Try using another desktop browser that accepts cookies & scripts.

Actually, it's not a tab. It's a text link that appears above the other tabs and is easy to miss.

What about "Pending?" This tab appears if you need to supply additional information, such as model releases.

Are you sure they weren't accepted and are now in your portfolio? Depending on how you've sorted the assets on your Dashboard page, they may not be at the top of the screen.
