Hi everyone, this image has been rejected due quality issues. "Common problems that can affect the technical quality of images include exposure problems, light blurring, excessive filtering, or artifacts/distortion".

What might be correct?

Hello,

Apart from the lighting conditions, the focus is a problem here. Even though you may have intentionally used a shallow DOF, the focus is still too narrow.

So, in summary for the technical quality you have:

  1. exposure
  2. lighting
  3. excessive filtering
  4. focus

I can't find anything in sharp focus, and the bright spot on the left side of the frame is what draws the eye first, certainly not your intention.

The picture seems to be stylised or filtered, or filmed in very special lighting conditions. Adobe do not want pictures with effects supplied, no matter how pretty, because they consider that the job of the purchaser. There are many other issues, especially with focus. This is not the sort of picture Adobe take.
