Image rejected for technical issues

New Here ,
Jan 05, 2021 Jan 05, 2021

A few of my images were rejected for technical issues but they have met all the requirements. They are all around 10Mp, they are JPEGs, etc. All the photos were in color and minimally edited. Is there any other reason they could have been rejected?

Technical issues are quality related. If your pictures do not fullfill the basich requirements, you cannot upload.

Just looking into the picture I see everywhere problems leading to "technical" refusals:

Just 2 pointed out: there is a halo around the catenaries and there are artifacts in the sky. There are also artefacts on the rails, probably because of the noise reduction used. Most elements in the picture do not show details. Looks like an overprocessed phone picture.

Hi @mbaker021 ,

It is really a nice capture, however in addition to what is being said - color fringing, grain noise, etc; I believe it is slightly under exposed also.

You need to zoom your files at 100 to 200% to inspect them for flaws, and use a photo editor to correct same.

Best wishes

JG
