I submitted this image as a set of a series for Indigenous Peoples day but it was rejected for quality issues, however, the image settings are no different than other images that were accepted. Any insight would be appreciated!

Noise and conversion to duotone are the issues here. We're the others submitted in duotone / black & white?

Your posted image is not the original as submitted. And even so, you see noise and a strange pattern and artefacts.
