Images rejected - generative AI?

I got several images rejected in following reasons.

- Non compliant use of another artist’s name.

- Undeclared Generative AI Content.

All images have been shot with digital camera in raw mode and edited in Capture One Pro. Why this happens? Here is two examples.

Hi @PekkaLi ,

These photos are incorrectly refused for non-compliant based on the information you supply. However, they do have quality or technical issues.

The colors are not correct. Both photos have white balance issue and might be considered underexposed. The second file has artifacts (color noise).

Your photos must be as close as possible to reality. I am not sure how use of another artist name would apply here except you include a name in your caption or keywording.

While these files have quality issues, you are one of the many of us who gets refusal for the wrong reason. This is the link reference that your refusal was based off.

I suspect that even if your photos were of good quality it would have been incorrectly refused.

Regards

Jacquelin

Apparently it's your imagery, technique, and creativity on trial here...  Funny you were accused of using AI (and who really knows if you did) when Adobe just made it a mandatory feature it there update.  Remember, critics technical issues are something to learn from not be discouraged by... someday you may even live up to the expectations of your critics.

Nobody is on trial here. Adobe Stock is a business.  Images that are unsuitable for commercial use are of zero interest to customers. Crappy images lead to customer complaints, refunds and a bad reputation for Adobe as well as the contributor.

It's in everyone's best interest to submit only highest quality assets.

I think that AS has given itself a great challenge to find out what is AI and what is not.

That's specific to the AI refusal textblock. If the refusal reason is wrong, you should not concentrate on those.

I agree with @RALPH_L  that the moderator selected an incorrect rejection reason code. The first image has a white balance issue, seems over saturated and is blurry. The second image also has a color problem and is blurry.

What title & keywords did you use to describe content?

Which boxes did you check at submission?

I agree with @RALPH_L about color balance.   The wild purple and blue colorizations are unacceptable for commercial use.  Your submissions must be color neutral (natural).  If customers wish to colorize them after purchase, that's their design decision to make, not yours.  Read these links for more details.

I think in your case the reviewer made a mistake. However, that does not mean the photos should have passed. They should have failed for quality problems. At a minimum, the color balance is off in both photos. The first photo iis not focused well and the second photo has exosure problems.

Are these photographs or Generative AI assets?

They are normal photographs
