Unfortunately, this image doesn't meet our quality standards so we can’t accept it into our collection.

Common issues that can impact the technical quality of images include exposure issues, soft focus, excessive filtering or artifacts/noise.

Correct answer Jill_C

The first image is about 1/4 stop underexposed, there's chroma noise in the sky, and the white balance is too blue.

The second image also has a white balance issue and the verticals are leaning.

As @Jill_C said, the picture is underexposed. You see that clearly with the histogram:

The whites are missing. I also agree on the white balance issue. I do not see chroma noise, however. In addition, the sharpness falls off at the borders. I would recommend correcting what can be corrected, maybe adding a small amount of texture/clarity and trying to resubmit. The image as such is nice.

I agree with @Jill_C. I would also enhance the sky by adding more contrast. In that case, you will need to correct your sensor spots as they also get “enhanced”. 2/3 to the right, there is also a black spot, probably a bird, that I would remove.
